Online Marketing and The Wizard of Oz

I am sure that many of you must have seen "The Wizard of Oz,"
which is still being regarded as one of the greatest movies of
all time..

As a refresher and for those that did not see the movie, the big
theme was that the main characters all thought that they didn't
have what it takes to get what they wanted in life...

By example, the Scarecrow thought he needed a brain and
the Tin Man thought he didn't have a heart.

In essence, it turned out that they all already had everything they
needed, but they were actually looking and searching outside of
themselves, whilst they should have been looking inside.

That's usually the problem...we know a lot more than we think we
know, but sometimes we just need a little nudging from a "wizard"
to remember it.

Does this not sound familiar to you and don't you sometimes feel
that you know a lot more of a subject than what others think
but just need a little encouragement from a "wizard" to
bring your true potential to the fore.

How does this all relate to Internet marketing? Well, you
already have everything you need to succeed online...inside of
you. Your brain is surely intact and therefore you are reading
this article right now, and the same goes for your eyes

Satisfying The Need Of Your Affiliate Marketers

There are basically three main goals that people in general
actually seek and this can be summarised as:

1.Symbolic reward
2.Material gains
3.Security

SYMBOLIC REWARDS

We all have the need for symbolic rewards, such as recognition
and praise. Everybody wants to feel important and special. The
act of praising and recognizing another is a strong motivator.
Always reward good deeds with praise, and give positive,
constructive criticism for bad deeds. If you are patient, in
time you will see the results of your compliments. In a similar vein,
you need to reward all of your top performing affiliate marketers by
consistently acknowledging them.

MATERIAL REWARDS

Material rewards mean a lot to people, whether they realize it
or not. In any capitalist society, a person's status is judged
by his material gains. Therefore, since money produces material
gain, it is a strong motivator, and its presence can have a
strong influence on others. If any of your top affiliates exceed the
monthly target set by yourself by a substantial margin, then they
deserve to get additional commission.

SECURITY

Everyone needs security and stability. Security is attained when
people feel they belong and are needed by others. People want
security in their jobs, friends, family, etc. There are many
ways to increase other people's feelings of security:

a) Let people know what you have to offer and what you expect
from them in return. Tell them why the affiliate marketing
relationship you have with them is the way it is.

b) Make people feel that they are needed and belong in
the marketing relationship with you. Show a need for
their presence.

c) Let all your affiliate marketers others know what their
efforts are accomplishing and how they are affecting you.
Make them feel important and special to you. Show them that
their efforts are appreciated.

By sticking to all the above simple, yet effective guidelines,
you are bound to see your affiliate marketing sales sky rocket
in due course.

Advertising Through Forums - Plus A Free Gift

Many web marketers frequently involve themselves in at least one online forum. Online forums are a great way to make connections with others on a more personal level. Certain forums are very informal and involve discussion on everyday issues, while others are more informational and become very detailed.

If you are seriously trying to find free ways to advertise your affiliate link, using online forums to promote website traffic is a great idea. There are several ways you can use online forums to promote affiliate link. You should carefully consider the various different approaches and how you want yourself to be viewed before using a forum as a means of advertising.

One of the easiest way you can use an online forum to promote your affiliate link, is by simply adding a link to a promoted website in your forum “signature”. Many forums allow each member to create a “signature” that is added to the bottom of each of their posts.

Another hint is to include your affiliate link to something for free, as it is then most likely that others you chat with in the forums will become more familiar with the website name and probably even check it out. This is one of the most successful ways to promote affiliate link in online forums.

It is also a great option for someone who does not want to be as pushy about the advertising aspect. You can be more natural with the advertisement delivery by using forums in this manner. You can even begin visiting forums that you usually don’t, just to get your “signature” out there more frequently across the web. Many blogs also allow comment sections where you can leave your affiliate link in your “signature”, so take advantage of these avenues as well.

As a reward for reading up to now, I have super gift for you today. This consist of over 120+ Hours of MP3 audio files featuring today’s most successful & well-known Internet Marketers.

Hot Tips on Succeeding in Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing has been around for a long time and is increasingly becoming the program of choice for most new comers to internet marketing. The popularity is linked to the fact that you can start an online business even though you might only have a limited capital.

The remuneration for affiliates, and depending on which program you enrol, could be very high and the trained affiliate marketer can make thousands of dollars each month. There are virtually thousands of affiliate programs that are offered to every prospective marketer, but you need to choose the programs that are right for you.

Be prepared to ask many questions about the programs and become fully familiar with all the conditions and requirements. Below are two tips that will help you in your initial assessment of the affiliate program on offer and should ensure you of success without the need of wasting too much effort and money.

1. What is the compensation level of the program?

It is essential that you know how much you can expect from each sale. It would be futile to spend more of your time and money endorsing a product and being not compensated well in return. There is also a distinct possibility that you could end up wasting more on promoting than you are about to do on sales. With this in mind, it is better to stick on endorsing the products with relatively high payments, unless you are well versed in the art of mass marketing. This is where you get smaller profits but can trade large numbers of product, and get significant payments.

2. Does the main product website get much traffic?

You must try and establish the quantity of traffic the business site is currently getting. If the site is placed on the top 75,000, the business is having a better amount of traffic, and there is a chance that it already has many affiliates. If it is placed under 400,000 it is either not good or it must have a good chance to earn money.

Ensure that you do constant research on a product if the site has a low traffic ranking. It would be a great idea to purchase a product yourself and experience it for yourself. In addition, you can make a quick Google search and see whether there are any unpleasant remarks about it online. A great idea is to use the word “scam” in your search as this will immediately bring up any controversies linked to the program or product.

The tips linked to this article will continue with the next blog post. In the meanwhile, please visit my site at www.onlinesuccess.thebestbizreview.com for a review of affiliate programs that really deliver.

Starting Your Own Affiliate Marketing Program

There are many great methods of marketing your online business but there is one that stands head and shoulders above the rest, and that is to Start Your Own Affiliate Program.

Lets us now look at some tips on making your affiliate program stand out in a highly distinct manner, from the massive amount of competition that are available out there.

1 – Do not try to sell everything to everyone, because this has been proven to be one of the quickest way to fail in many business ventures in general, but affiliate marketing in particular.

2 – Endeavour as far as possible, to provide your affiliate partners with creative and promotional materials. Make it an explicit aim to make their task of marketing your products or services as easy as possible. The less work they have to do and the more conversions they see, the more enthusiastic they will become and thus sell more of your products or services.

3- Try not to rest on your laurels by taking things easy, just because your have a few high performers that are bringing in huge sales. If they decide to leave you, that steady flow of revenue could be threatened. Always protect yourself by constantly and actively recruiting new partners, through advertising your affiliate program on the web site, or listing or advertising in affiliate directories. Another tactic to follow, is to search for and contact, some of the known super affiliates directly.

4 – Keep on communicating with your affiliates at all times by heartily welcoming them when joining, and sending out regular updates on products and services or changes. In addition, you should also give them tips and advise on how to be successful in marketing products. Take good care of them and they will take good care of you.

5 - Lastly but most importantly is to ALWAYS PAY THEM ON TIME!!!

What Does It Take To Become Successful

Many people who achieve fortune in the world, are not born rich. They usually accomplish their financial goals through hard work and a detailed plan of action.

Every type of person on earth can become successful,
irrespective of being a saint, scoundrel, philosopher, poet, (honest) politicians, young or old. There are no limitations or physical boundaries for success. Success comes to those who think about success and strive for it.

Although many rich financiers at the turn of
the century had no formal education, they overcame that and went on to great fame. Some people strive towards a single goal from early in life, and often attain that goal while still young. Others are willing to risk new adventures later and still attain success.

"It's never too late to learn," wrote Malcolm Forbes,
the money magnate. "I learned to ride a motorcycle at 50 and fly balloons at 52." Whatever your task, whatever your obstacles, you can be as successful as anyone else. Study the people who accomplished recognition in the areas of your pursuit. How did they achieve their goals? And don't be afraid you don't have what it takes.

As Daniel Webster wrote, "There is always room at the top."
The Internet is awash with opportunities that have made many people extremely wealthy. Why don't you also get a slice of the pie and begin with affiliate marketing. This is undoubtedly one of the best low-cost methods to launch an online marketing career.

Your first step would be to compare programs and separate
those that are genuine, from the many scams and rip-offs. For comparisons of the very best, please go to; http://www.onlinesuccess.thebestbizreview.com

To your continued success,

Affiliate Marketing Critical Success Factors – Part Six

A - Maintain Web Pages that are free of clutter

To fill your website with a variety of affiliate program

advertisements, may seem like a great way to increase

revenue streams, but it could cost you thousands of dollars

in the long run.

Some potential customers automatically get turned off when

they see a webpage cluttered full of different sales

products. It becomes confusing to them and they move on to

another website fairly quickly. If it so happens that you

are working with more than one affiliate program it becomes

important to dedicate one page at least to each program. It

is even better, and deemed as much more professional to

actually dedicate a separate domain name and site to each

affiliate program that you are involved with.

B - Dedicated Web Pages

If you dedicate a whole page to one affiliate product you

are showing your commitment to that program. Your page

should preferably be uncluttered and not full of Google

Adsense ads, or ads for other programs or services. A small

area on either the top or side of the page could be used for

these type of ads, but try and avoid cluttering your page with

them. My recommendation would be not to use them at all

on these pages.

You don’t want to give your visitor too many options on

your page, as one of the highly beneficial characteristics

of a good affiliate marketing sales page is its ability to

be both informative and positive. It will typically offer

potential customers the chance to become intrigued about a

program or product, just enough for them to decide to click

on the link, and then immediately afterwards go to the main

affiliate sales page of your program.

C - Dedicated Domain

Having a whole website dedicated to a specific product will

provide instant credibility for you. In addition, domain

names are not very expensive these days and other relatively

inexpensive programs are available for maintaining the page.

You also do not need to be a computer whizkid to get a basic

website developed that can act as your information site for

an affiliate program you are working with.

Dedicating a whole site to one product, gives you the

flexibility of expanded options through offering

informative articles and other information on your site

that will continue to entice your potential customers to

click on the relevant links. A dedicated domain name is by

far one of the very best ways to inform your potential

customers of the benefits that your product or service can

offer them. Irrespective of whether you decide to go with a

dedicated web page or a dedicated domain, the main idea is

always about simplicity and consideration for your

potential customers.

An aesthetically pleasing website will win customers over a

cluttered and hard to understand site, most of the time.

The above guidelines does not have to be strictly adhered

to when you are operating mainly through blogs. Weblogs

after all, are meant to be interactive with lots of

information related to the theme or title, as long as you

do not have conflicting information.

Affiliate Marketing Critical Success Factors – Part Four

What are the tools that an affiliate marketer require? There are

many, but for your benefit I will only mention two of the most

essential ones for now.

A - The first one, is "Track your Statistics".

You need to track your statistics and especially the amount of

clicks you send to the sales page of the product you are

promoting. If this statistic is not tracked you could for

example make ten sales over the period of a week and think you

are doing a marvelous job.

In reality however, it could be that you have sent more than

10,000 visitors to that sales page over the period , and the

conversion rate of actual buyers to clicks will then be 10 to

10,000 . This works out to a dismal 0,1% conversion, which is

not a very good percentage at all, meaning that you could be

wasting your time and efforts. Either the sales page is not

converting that well, or your source of traffic is not targeted

enough and therefore very poor.

B - The second thing to do is “Cloak your Affiliate Links”.

If this concept perhaps sound foreign to you, then you only need

to look at the following example of an affiliate link:

http://www.mysalessite.com/affiliates/refer.cgi?ID=726252

There are a good few problems associated with it, with the very

first is being able to blatantly see that it is an affiliate

link. For some strange reason, many people do not like clicking

on affiliate links and some will just simply cut off most of the

URL go straight to the actual sales page. The tragedy with this

is that it will lose you a sale.

Ensure therefore that you shorten your affiliate link by using

any of the multitudes of free software programs and other

services available on the Internet. Some programs even allow

you to rename the link with a domain named that reflects the

product niche.

Another scam that you must be made aware of is affiliate link

stealing, where cyber or Internet thieves can recognize an

affiliate program URL and substitute the identity or reference

number with their own unique details and deprive you even

further of hard worked for commissions.

Affiliate marketing is sometimes not for the faint-hearted, but

with enough of the correct tools at your disposal and coupled

with diligent application thereof, almost anyone can make a

success.

Affiliate Marketing Critical Success Factors – Part Two

Did you ever have an experience of talking to an electronics

sales person and asking questions about a product but felt that

they really had very little idea what they were talking about?

From a customers perspective, and whenever you are purchasing

something from a salesperson you will undoubtedly have more

confidence in the person if they have tried the product or are

currently using the product themselves. The very same rule applies

to affiliate marketing. It is almost impossible to be successful in

selling a product if you have some experience of its benefits.

It actually does not matter what the product is, but you should

at least spend the time and money to try and test it. Play

around and experiment, and tell yourself what you truly think of

the product by posing questions to others who are already using

it. Do not only ask questions for the sake of it, but ask the real

probing type as this will greatly assist in writing much better

copy and other promotional material.

The application of knowledge based on your own experience will

make you come across as a genuine person who knows what you are

talking about. You will then be selling to customers from a point of

knowledge and not from a point of greed. It is easy for anyone

to just sign up to be an affiliate marketer, throw up a standard

webpage and hope that sales will be rolling in. This is unfortunately

not the best approach to make money, and could lead to more

and more frustration and wondering why the big sales are avoiding

you like a plague.

Another means of increasing your sales even more, is to find a

product that you truly find useful with concrete evidence in

support thereof, and can also rave to others about. Affiliate marketing

has never been just about randomly selling other people’s products,

but more about finding a product that is beneficial to yourself, which

you fully understand and have the sincere passion to market.

To your affiliate marketing success.

Is Affiliate Marketing Really For You?

There is a belief that success in affiliate marketing only requires you have to be a little creative and then promote your website, which will the ultimately sell the product or service.

Your success will however depend on what type of person you are and whether you are good in promoting your website. The main question is whether you have a passion for the product that you are marketing. You might have seen a website selling classical story books or different kinds of diving equipment, but if your ultimate passion lies in meditation or personal self-improvement, then it is doubtful if you should get involved with the first two as mentioned above.

There are so many affiliate programs to choose from and you are
actually spoilt for choice e.g. on the Clickbank portal. It should therefore not be that difficult to find something that is relevant to your personal field of interest. It is for this very reason that affiliate marketing is perfect for almost everyone.

The other beauty of affiliate marketing is that the moneymaking
potential is huge, irrespective of whether you are an average person with a regular job, a student who just wants to make extra cash or a housewife who wants to help with the household expenses. Notwithstanding your circumstances therefore, you can effectively become your own boss, dictate your own hours and thereby determining the size of your paycheck.

The Internet is a
dynamic environment and there will always be
new online
businesses coming out everyday. You will never run out of clients, as long as you upgrade your products and services all the time. Do everything you can to keep the visitors, interested and happy, so that they convert to buyers and ultimately become repeat buyers of your other products and services. To broaden your revenue base and after you see a steady income from one program, try taking on another two or three, but keep it manageable.

Good luck with your online business.

Online Survival As An Affiliate Marketer

Successful affiliate marketers are always looking for
opportunities that provides the biggest and most consistent
income. Newcomers or newbies however, sometimes think that
there is a magic formula that is readily available to them,
and actually become highly disappointed when they find out
that it is much more complicated than that.

Irrespective of which category you fall into, there are
definite tactics that have worked before with online
marketing, especially in the world of affiliate marketing
which generally does not require a lot of money to start
off with. In the sections below, I will be sharing with you
some of the top three marketing tips that can be used to
increase your sales and survive in the online affiliate
marketing game.

Firstly, offer something free to your readers in the form
of a report or ebook. It is advisable to position them at
the very top side of your landing page so that it simply
cannot be missed. Also try to create very convincing
autoresponder messages that will be mailed to respondents
who provide their personal information into your sign up
box. Verified research has proven that on average, a sale
is usually closed around the seventh contact session with
a prospect. Be absolutely sure that the content is
directed toward specific benefits of the product and do not
make it sound like a sales pitch.

Try and avoid the use of the word “free” because there are
still a good few spam filters around that dumps those kind
of content straight into the junk even before anyone has
read it. Attach some mystery to your offer by convincing
those who signed up for your free reports that they will be
missing out on something big if they do not take up on your
products and services.

Secondly, try and use unique web pages to promote each
separate product you are marketing. It is not good practice
to just lump all of it together just in order to save some
money on web hosting. It better to rather have a site
focusing on each and every product as a standalone as this
will further enhance your reputation as a niche marketer.

A well accepted trend nowadays is to include product
reviews on the website so that visitors will have an initial
understanding of the product benefits. In addition, it is
of no harm to even include testimonials from users who have
already tried the product, but be sure that these customers
have given you their explicit permission to do so.

Thirdly, it is essential to get the kind of traffic that is
targeted to your product. If the person who visited your
website has no interest whatsoever in what you are
offering, they will be turned off and might never even come
back. Writing articles for publication in e-reports and
e-zines is a sure way to get virtually free traffic to your
site.

It is advisable to try and write a minimum of 2 articles
per week, within a range of 300-700 words in length. With
continuous writing and maintaining these articles you can
easily generate as many as 200 targeted readers to your
site on a daily and consistent basis. Another statistic to
remember is that only about 1 out of 100 people are likely
to buy your product or get your services. This translates
into a 1% conversion rate. If you can therefore generate as
much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, it
then means that you can then make 10 sales based on the
average statistic.

The above tactics are not rocket science and yet many online
marketers get it wrong by wanting to take short cuts. It
only requires a little time and an action plan on your
part and you are A for Away.

Use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs and
it is bound to become a great source of income that can
lead to a prosperous and comfortable lifestyle.

To your continued Affiliate Marketing success.

Affiliate Marketing Is Your Tool To A Steady Online Income

You most probably want to be the kind of affiliate marketer that

visualizes a steady stream of checks when you open your mailbox,

or payment notifications when you open your email in box.

Not all affiliate marketers are successful and there are lots of

them who can never make a sale and have never received any

checks in their Internet marketing career. On the other side

however, there are also a select few who receive huge monthly

checks almost all year long.

Irrespective of the kind of affiliate marketing you are involved

with, you will want to join the ranks of those who are

regular earners.

Many suggestions have been made in the past as to what works

best and the below guidelines are some of the better known ones

which will quickly raise your affiliate marketing profile.

1. Have your very own website and create a newsletter with

absolute content-rich information that focuses on your niche

market. A website is necessary in affiliate marketing because

this is where people will go when they find that your offering

is interesting and where they can obtain additional information.

It is important to be able to expand on all the attributes and

benefits of your business.

2. Identify a practical market niche with a relatively high

demand . Try to identify the niche market you want to focus on

and whilst there might be a lot of those out there, not all are

easy to infiltrate. Be careful about those that might seem

attractive but do not have a realistic chance of success. You

will more often than not, end up losing money more than gaining

some in the first instance.

3. Convert your visitors to buyers. People going to your

affiliate site should be ready to make the buying decision. You

must therefore present them with an offer they will find so

tempting that it will almost be unable to resist.

4. Search for a stable affiliate program that offers the niche

market you want. Search broadly and widely all over the Internet

in order to find this program through the use of keywords. Make

absolutely sure that you find the company that not only assist

their affiliates through advice and tools needed for affiliate

marketing, but also offer continuous support. The drive for

success must be mutual.

5. Make sure that your target audience arrives at your site and

then get them to sign up for your ezine or newsletter . This can

be achieved by trying to differentiate yourself through

innovative advertising of your affiliate marketing program.

There is an eager and willing audience out there looking for

something unique and you must therefore think of creative ways

to make people go to your site and and buy from you.

Freebies always work well.

To your continued success.

How Much Money Can I Make With Affiliate Marketing?

The above is not only a million dollar question (excuse the

pun), but also a very important one for anyone wanting to make

online money with affiliate marketing

In real terms, earnings are completely up to your efforts, and

the sky is virtually the limit, but always make sure that you

get the best commission possible.

When you examine any affiliate program, one of the very first

things that you should look at is the commission per sale. This

may often be portrayed as a percentage, or as a dollar amount

figure. If the commission is only presented as a dollar figure,

it then becomes important to locate the sale price of the

product, and figure out the commission percentage.

It is advisable to go with affiliate programs that offer a 50%

or higher commission. If the product is higher priced however,

you may consider going as low as 30% commission, but not lower.

You should also carefully consider exactly what amount of sales

it will take you to earn the amount of money that you have set

as a goal. The amount of $25 per sale may sound like a lot, but

if you require 5000.00 a month to live comfortably, you will

have to make at least 200 sales each month in order to reach

your target. This could be very realistic for certain products

in an exclusive niche, and totally unrealistic for products in

other more common marketing sectors.

Always consider the “what” and “who” of selling i.e. what

product you are selling, and to what target market. This will

give you at least some guidelines to determine whether the

number of sales needed to make the money you require is indeed

realistic.

If you find that the number of sales required is not realistic,

you will then need to either look for something uniquely

different to sell, or alternatively look for additional products

to broaden your range. Another strategy is for you to start on a

smaller scale, with smaller commissions and use this is a

stepping stone to work your way up. You have no doubt heard of

Super Affiliates, and this is exactly the strategy that they

follow.

Super Affiliates are successful because they have the ability to

show the product owner or affiliate manager that they understand

the market and have the credentials to make a large number of

sales each and every month. They are consistent in their efforts

and their track record enables them to negotiate directly with

the product owner for a higher commission. They therefore first

prove themselves by making substantial sales first, and this can

then puts them are in a commanding position to negotiate.

Remember that you might have some marketing expenses to take

into account, and this might erode some of your commission. Do

not spend more money on promotions than you are making in

commissions as this does not make good business sense.

Good luck with your affiliate marketing.

Gerard.

You do not have to be a millionaire first if you want to start an

money on your own business, you are probably in the wrong
business. Why should people put their faith in you, give their
money to you?

When people first come online, they know that they want to make
money, but they don't have the faintest idea of how they intend
to accomplish this goal. For those who are looking to get on the
fast track of making money online, affiliate marketing and
network marketing is most probably the best option. These
programs were specifically developed to help them to reach their
goals more quickly. When you sign up as an affiliate for a
company or as a network marketing associate, the company you are
dealing with will always give you a special tracking link to
refer your potential clients to.

Some advertisers will however not allow advertising to appear if
it contains an affiliate or tracking URL. If you use articles as
I have done to promote your business, most article directory
managers expressly forbid the use of affiliate tracking URL's
inside the body of the article and in the resource box that
follows the article.

When you advertise, ensure that you always promote yourself and
not someone else. Say for example that in a year's time from now
you decide that you don't want to promote a specific affiliate
program anymore. If you have spent all of your energy promoting
your affiliate URL during this time, then you will have nothing
left to show for your time and efforts. On the other hand
however, if you have been promoting your own domain or website
for the same length of time, changing affiliate programs
mid-stream will not affect the cash turnover within your
business. All of your link building will stay with you once you
have made your decision to move on to another program.

You should never put all of your eggs in one basket. In other
words you should never put all of your energy into one company,
product or service. Not all products and services are created
equal and not all compensation plans are created equal. Also be
aware that some companies offer products and services that have
seasonal selling cycles. It is only through multiple streams of
income that you will find a more even balance in your income
levels throughout the year.

Selling other people's product through affiliate marketing is
definitely one of the easiest methods to launch an online
business, but beware of the scams. Do you own due diligence
first before parting with your money.

Attract People To Your Web Page With Freebies

Provide them an ebook which could also include your
own advertisement and furthermore, allow
them to give it away to others as well. If you lack
the capacity or time to write one, you could always
ask other writers for permission to use their articles.

Give people a free subscription to your e-zine.
Almost everyone is publishing a e-zine nowadays
so it's important to give something extra with the
free subscription. You could offer a free gift or
advertising when people subscribe.

Offer a free online directory, loaded with other
interesting things like websites with unique offers,
e-zines, links to special sites etc. You can be
assured that if people find your directory to be a
valuable resource they will not only visit it again,
but also inform their other online affiliates.

Allow visitors to download free software, in the form of
shareware, freeware, demos etc. You could even turn part
of your own site into a free software directory. If you
are a real techie and have created the software yourself,
then include this information inside your offer. You will
build a reputation as someone that knows both the
marketing and technical side of the business.

Free online classes or seminars are always a great hit
as people often likes the human touch and prefer to
interact with a face and a voice. This can easily be set
up in your web site's chat room. The whole idea of live
information is to entice people to visit your web site.
You will enhance your reputation as an expert in that
particular field.

Providing free online services or utilities from your
web site, like search engine submission, copy writing,
proofreading etc. will further cement your customer
relations. Even free consulting to people who visit
regularly either via e-mail or by telephone, will add
tremendous value because consulting fees can be very
expensive these days.

Gerard.

Is An Affiliate Website Really Required?

It is still being debated amongst internet marketers whether
you’d need your own website in order to do business in the World
Wide Web. Some say that by owning your website, you actually
have headquarters or clearly identified presence in cyberspace.
It’s like your very own digital store where you could lead
potential customers and where you offer the products you or the
service provider, have for sale.

Although it’s true that having your own website can greatly aid
you in your endeavors to achieve success in the online
commercial field, a website is not the be all and end all of
internet marketing, particularly in the line of affiliate
marketing. You could most probably make a living online as an
affiliate even if you do not have the benefit of your own
website, as long as you follow some clear guidelines.

The definition of affiliate marketing is that of a program
whereby the affiliate can earn some generous commissions for
every successful sale they manage to refer to the affiliate
merchant. The affiliate’s task is therefore merely to pre-sell
the affiliate merchant’s goods. All the required sales aids
including the sales page, the payment processing, the digital
delivery, and post sales services is usually the
responsibilities of the affiliate merchant.

It is only required of the affiliate to refer people to the
affiliate merchant’s sales page. This can be done by making
people click on the affiliate links exclusively provided for the
affiliate. These affiliate links are most important as they are
like the beacons that identify the affiliate program. They will
also tell the system that a visitor was actually referred by the
appropriate affiliate and ensure that the compensation due is
directed to the correct person.

In the next posting, I will discuss some of the essential
components of an affiliate marketing program that will ensure
relatively good success.

Affiliate Marketing Tips

Many people in the affiliate marketing game are constantly being
bombarded by different programs, with the sales and marketing
pitch being presented as if the particular program will deliver
success with minimal input.

If you have been recently approached with such an offer, contact
the company in question and at least negotiate a mutually beneficial
arrangement if you feel that you are confident enough to generate
an amazing number of sales for them. If for some reason, they seem
disinterested in what you are offering, do not throw in the towel,
especially if the product is something that you are very passionate
about, or it is related to a field that you have vast experience in.

For affiliate marketing to work effective, you need to advertise
aggressively. Do however keep in mind that most types of advertising
do not give out results instantly. Refrain from only putting up a banner
for your affiliate marketing campaign and getting it off after a few days,
as this will in all likelihood not be successful, as it will take time.

Some of the marketing strategies that have worked successfully for
you in one instance, may not work the same way on other campaigns.
It is therefore worth the try but do not expect forthings to turn out
exactly the way you planned.

If for some reason, you are having continuous problems with your
affiliate program, then get in touch with the company. If they are
committed to their business, they will help you in every way possible
on things like which strategies work the best. By examining their
database and through a process of networking, they probably have
thousands of affiliates on their books that will be prepared to share
with you as to what works best.

Affiliate marketing can be both very exciting and also depressing
at the same time. The challenges will always be there and ups and
downs will be encountered. At the end of the day, it all boils down to
affiliate marketing being the survival of the fittest, the smartest and
the most astute.

If you don't have patience, do not even waste your time or money.

To Your Continued Internet Success,

Gerard.

Make Online Money With Affiliate Marketing

Dear Friends,

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest low-cost or no-cost
methods to make money online. You must however be careful
because if what is being offered to you seem to be too good to
be true, it probably is.

There are many affiliate programs, offline and online all
claiming to be the best from all of the rest. Some will give you
an initial impression that you do not have to
do more than just place an advert or two and then start earning
incredible profits to fast-track you to unthinkable riches. This is
however not always the case, as it may only apply to some
experienced internet marketers who have already built up a
successful site and a name for themselves. For the rest,
especially the so-called “Newbies” most, affiliate marketing
needs a little of dedication, relatively hard work in the
beginning and a sincere commitment to succeed.

Email can be an effective yet simple affiliate marketing tool if
it is done correctly. If you intend using email for your
affiliate marketing, you must be convinced that your offering or
product, is genuine and then also make yourself available
anytime for any questions or queries.

Adding articles to your email advertising works really well for
most of the time. Even putting up a summary about your product
or service that can instantly grab the attention of your readers
is another good selling point. This summary should preferably
contain a link to an article located on your website, as this will give
your visitors a chance to check out other interesting and relevant
parts of your site.

The aim of a website is after all to advertise in order to get
highly targeted clients to visit, and convert to future
customers if the offer or service fulfill their needs.
Affiliate marketing sometimes does not offer the flexibility of
making changes to the website, but try and join programs that
are different from the rest, with a unique product.

To Your Internet Success,

Gerard.
